EDUCATION IN ENGLAND. ABSTENTION FROM POLITICS. (Air Mail—Special to News.) London, May 9. The ex-Kmg of Greece, whose immediate plans have been arousing such general interest, is one of the illustrious post-war company of Roya. “exes” who was deposed and did not abdicate. He knows London and England familiarly, having been educated at an English public school and also at Oxford. •. At the latter he not long ago gave his own description as “for the moment one of the unemployed,” which may have conveyed a hint of ambition for future resumption of Royal activities. He has wisely kept himself scrupulously apart from Greek politics and all kinds of intrigue, but he occupies himself with both books, sport and problems of government. He is reckoned one of the crack sporting shots amongst Royal contempor--3 The firm but courteous manner in which he declined to have sensational publicity forced onJiim when he came to London a few days ago made a very favourable impression.
