The death of Sir AJmeric Fitzroy, aged 84. is reported in a London cable. He enjoyed a long distinguished public career and was a grandson of the third Duke of Grafton. The death has occurred at Dunedin of Mrs. A. C. Begg, aged 91, widow of the late Mr. Alexander Begg, one of the most noted Otago early settlers, and mother of Mr. James Begg, reports a Press Association message. The 'death of Mr. Walter Seavill, chairman of directors of the Farmers Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., for many years, is reported by the Press from Auckland. He was a” prominent farmer in the Raglan district.
