The Victoria Racing Club’s meeting was held at Flemington yesterday. _ The New Zealand jockey K. Voitre continues to ride impressively. He excelled himself to-day, winning the Rothsay Handicap of seven furlongs on Valiant Chief, the Royal Handicap of six furlongs on Vauhtry and the last race on Turf Boy. . On returning to scale at the finish of the last race he received an ovation from the crowd. . He also dead-heated for first on Alarm in the Sandringham Handicap, t - . . The only other jockey to win four races in one day hitherto at Flemington is also a New Zealander, M. McCarten. Voitre seems certain to win the jockeys premiership at Melbourne this season.
