INGLEWOOD NEWS
WORKING BEE AT OLD SCHOOL. On Thursday afternoon a working bee was held on the old school grounds at Inglewood to dismantle swings and take them to the new school. The concrete at the old school was broken up and taken to the new school for building rockeries. Despite the weather 25 members attended the territorial parade on Wednesday. Marching, rifle and turning exercises were carried out under Second Lieutenant N. Crossman. . On Tuesday night six members of the platoon visited Stratford to take part in the Legion of Frontiersmen school. On the way the car was involved in an accident but no-one was hurt and the team was able to proceed to Stratford.
