WHITELEY CHURCH
METHODIST MEN’S FELLOWSHIP. After tea provided by the women’s guild the annual meeting of the Methodist Men’s Fellowship of Whiteley Church was held in the parish hall last night, Mr. C. E. Bellringer presiding over a good attendance. A report of a very satisfactory year was given by the secretary, Mr. A. E. Berry. A programme of meetings for the ensuing winter months was arranged. The evening was spent in discussion of church matters, of methods of assisting church activities and of rendering community service. ■ Affairs in connection with the show in September were dealt with. Officers for the year were elected as follow: President, Mr. C. E. Bellringer; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Rankin and J. Ashcroft; secretary, Mr. A. E. Berry; treasurer, Mr. E. Chatterton. Mr. G, W. Kirk was appointed hospital visitor.
