SON PICKED UP DEAD
STRUCK FATHER’S MOTOR-LORRY; FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR ADELAIDE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Adelaide, May 1. When a farmer, Mr. H. Lockett, was delivering fruit from a motor-lorry to a friend at Macclesfield last night a motor-cyclist travelling at high speed crashed into the lorry and -was killed instantly. Mr. Lockett hurried to pick up the body and discovered it was his own son Cyril, aged 22 years.
