SPREAD OF STRIKE
AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY DISPUTE. OTHER LARGE CITIES AFFECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8.20' p.m. Detroit, April 30. The strike of Chevrolet motor manufacturing workers at Toledo, which began on April 23, spread to the company’s plant at Cincinnati to-day, 2200 additional men striking. The strike has also forced the Fischer body works at Cleveland to close down, throwing out of work 9000 men.
