ALL-WELDED SHIP
LARGEST YET BUILT IN BRITAIN. LAUNCHING AT WALL SEND YARD. (British Official Wireless).. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, April 30. The tanker Moira, of 2240 tons dead weight and 245 feet long, the largest allwelded ocean-going vessel ever built in Britain, was launched at Swan and Hunter’s Wallsend yard for the Dampskibsselskepet Marne Company at Oslo.
