COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG MAN. A young man whose name was suppressed was committed to the Supreme Court for trial by Messrs. J. R. Hill and R. W. D. Robertson, J’s.P., at New Plymouth yesterday on a charge of indecent assault on a girl. 1 •“ After evidence had been giyen by the girl concerned, her mother, the constable of the district and Detective P. Kearney, accused, who was represented by Mr. L. M. Moss, pleaded not guilty. No bail was applied for.
