HIGH SPEED AIR LINER
BRITISH MINISTRY OFFERS PRIZE. DETAILS OF THE SPECIFICATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8 p.m. London, April 24. The Evening Standard’s aviation correspondent states that British makers have received details of the conditions of the Air Ministry’s prize of £25,000 for the production of a high-speed air liner. The specifications provide for a range of 800 miles, a cruising minimum speed of 180 miles an hour, accommodation for eighteen passengers, a crew of four, a pay-load of 40001 b. and a robot pilot.
