REPLACEMENTS FOR DOMINION. OPINION OF NEW COMMODORE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Captain the Hon. E. R. Drummond, who is to take command of the New Zealand naval statton, on* arriving to-day said that before leaving England he approached the Admiralty concerning the replacement of the light cruisers on the New Zealand station at as early a date as possible. Owing to the shortage of cruisers he considered it would not be until early in 1937 that the two vessels of the Leander class arrived.
