The Anglo-Australian ministers conside.Vd the replies of experts to whom questions of detail regarding meat have been submitted. The Ministers meet again on Wednesday, when the negotiations are expected to go beyond to-day’s exploratory character. No final arrangement will be concluded before the arrival of the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates. Mr. W. E. Elliot, Minister of Agriculture, in answer to a question said that the total imports of chilled beef for the current quarter were not expected to exceed 2,275,0i?cwt., compared with 2,175,000 cwt. for the corresponding quarter of 1934.
