STORMS IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

FLOODS FEARED IN VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Sydney, April 16. Bitterly cold weather was reported from all parts of New South Wales again yesterday, but the gales which have swept the south-eastern part of the continent for the past few days are moderating and temperatures should rise. A Melbourne message states that chilling south-westerly winds swept rain and hail squalls across the southern half of Victoria. The rivers are rising in Gippsland and further rain may cause floods for the fifth time in four months. A fireball sfruck and damaged a church at Christhampton. Heavy seas are still running along the coast and shipping is delayed.
