DRUNKEN BURGLARS
TWO MEN ADMIT THEIR OFFENCE.
—J ONE ARMED WITH A REVOLVER.

Two burglars, one of whom was armed with a revolver, who ransacked an unoccupied house in Remuera on March 29 and stole goods worth £ll7, and then made themselves drunk by consuming a bottle of brandy, a decanter of wine, and some ale, appeared in the Police Court to-day. •. They pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence.
They were Henry Lewis Brennan, aged 42, and William Houston, aged 40, labourers. Brennan also admitted breaking into other premises previously and stealing goods worth £4O, including the revolver.
