GENEROUS GRANTS
NEW PLYMOUTH BODIES BENEFIT. BANK TRUSTEES’ DECISION. The following donations to New Plymouth institutions were made at the annual meeting of the trustees of the New Plymouth Savings Bank yesterday: Mayor’s Relief Council £lOO, Poppy Day £5O, Y.W.C.A. £2O, Y.M.C.A. £2O, Red Cross Society £l5, District Nurse Association £l5, Toe H £lO, Plunket Society £25, War Graves Committee £lO, Sailors' Rest £lO. jin, addition the trustees decided to grant a second scholarship of £6O a year for five years, tenable by country children at the New Plymouth Boys' High School. This represents, an outlay of £3OO, making the total amount voted by the board £575.
