Boisterous Wind marred the jconcludihg day Of the Wanganui TrottirYg Club’S second meeting on Saturday, adversely affecting the attendance. The totalisator handled £5322 10s. compared With £4608 10s last year, making a total for the two days of £10,972, against £8262. An inquiry was held after the Ballance Handicap into the improvement shown by the winner Modem Lady and into the running of Waikato Prince. The placings were Unaltered, the stewards accepting the explanation tendered by Mackie, driver Of Modem Lady, but they disqualified E. R.
