RULING PRINCE NOT COMING. DHYAN CHAND NEW CAPTAIN. • By Telegraph—Press Delhi, April 12. The Indian hockey team which is to visit New Zealand and Australia leaves to-morrow without the Nawgb of Manayadar (captain), whq is one of the few ruling princes paying first-class hockey. The team is not India’s best but is stronger than the Indian Army team which visited the Dominion in 1926.
Dhyqn Chand, a clever centre forward, is now captain of the side.
