By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. , Melbourne, April 10. On a charge of having murdered Ethel Belshaw, Gordon Herbert Knights, aged 19 years, builder’s labourer, was remanded until April 17. Bail was refused.
Ethel Belshaw, a young girl, was found murdered in a patch of scrub half a mile from the pier at Inverlock » on January 2. The crime was a most revolting one, and the hunt for the mur- % derer has been one of the most extensive ' in the history of Victoria., , ■ .
