BANK’S LOSS OF £15,000,030.
By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright Rec. 5.5 p.m. Amsterdam, April 9. The Netherlands Bank rate has been raised to 44 per cent. The bank has lost £15,000,000 worth of gold in the past few days in an attempt to defend the guilder against speculators.
