OTHERS RUSHING TO HER AID.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 11 p.m. New York, April 9. The British freighter Towerbridge, formerly the Badagry, has wirelessed that she, does not need immediate assistance and expects ,to reach St. John’s, Newfoundland, on Wednesday at noon. Earlier she sent out an SOS message, “Hold filling rapidly.” Her position is about 200 miles east of St. Johns, Newfoundland. The steamers Scanstates, Manchester Producer, and Newfoundland are reported to be in the vicinity and proceeding to her assistance.
