NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB ACTIVITY. FORTNIGHTLY MEETING HELD. The New Plymouth Model Flying Club held a meeting on Tuesday night, when remits and letters were discussed. The club decided to reply to the request of the N.Z.M.A.A. asking whether it was in favour of a weight restriction for spar and fuselage models of one oz. that it was in accordance with the request. A further letter from the N.Z.M.A.A. asked for club news for the monthly bulletin 1 . The club left the responsibility of forwarding news and activities of the club in the hands of the secretary. £he resignation of Mr. F. J. Brown as a member was received. Mr. L. Collinson was elected club captain in the place of Mr. R. Ward, who relinquished the position through pressure of other duties. Mr. Ward still holds his position on the committee. A lc Iter from a sister club was received ard it was decided to help with practical demonstrations. After the meeting members adjourned to the workshop, where instruction was given in the construction of model planes.
