CYCLING AT INGLEWOOD
E. STANDING’S CHAMPIONSHIP.
The final of the series of track cycle races for the Inglewood Cycle Club’s championship was held at Jubilee Park on Tuesday evening before a good attendance of the public, which witnessed some very exciting finishes. The races resulted:—
A grade 1 mile: H. Eva 60yds 1, E. Standing 100yds 2, Reeves 110yds 3. Time, 2m 245.
A grade 2 miles: H. Eva 140yds 1, J. Reeves 220yds 2, Standing 180yds 3. Time, 5m ss. B grade i-mile: Schultz 80yds 1, W. Reeves 90yds 2, Candy 35yds 3. Time, lm 10s.
B grade 1 mile: Drinkwater 60yds 1, Candy 50yds 2, Schultz 110yds 3. Time, 2m 365.
The final position of riders for the A grade cup was: E. Standing 30 points 1, G. Parker 28 points 2; B grade cup, J. Dan 16 points 1, Candy 15 points 2, D. DH-’ —14 points 3. This, is the second time in succession that E. Standing has won the A grade cup and he therefore holds the cup per-rr-'.-nently.
