BY AIR TO BRINDISI
IMPERIAL AIRWAYS SERVICE. SAVING OF 18 HOURS .ON TRIP. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 8. Imperial Airways is inaugurating on April 8 a ohe-day passenger service to Brindisi until September 30, calling at Paris. Marseilles and Rome. It will leave London on Sundays and Wednesdays, connecting with the African and Australian services by which passengers for Australia may travel all the way by air if accommodation is available. The flight of 1352 miles in six-passenger machines will occupy 12 hours and’ will save 18 hours on the present London-Brindisi tourney. The service, which is the forerunner of the proposed development of the Empire services, will be Imperial Airways’ longest one-day European schedule. The service does not connect with the inward service from Australia tad does not affect mails either way.
