PIGEON RACE FROM LEVIN. The Egmont Homing Club continued its young bird programme with a flock race from Levin to New Plymouth. The birds had a very hard flight as they had to contend with a strong south-westerly wind. The returns were good, however. The result was:— J. James’ Egmont, 4h. 46m. .......... 1
S. Rogers’ Terminus, 4h. 47m. 15s. .. 2 J. Wilson’s Hesitate, 4h. 53m. 455. .. 3 > Two races will be flown at the weekend, a flock race‘from Westmere and an interval race from Palmerston North.
