DETAILS OF REFUND TO CLUBS.

TUKAPA GAINS LARGEST AMOUNT.

The position relating to the amount refunded to senior clubs in Taranaki from gate receipts was disclosed at last night’s annual meeting of the union. The division of gates was made on the following basis: From the gross gate was deducted first the gatekeepers’ expenses, second the referees’ expenses, third advertising costs, fourth ground rent (being 15 per cent, of the gross gate), fifth 10 per cent, of the gross gate for the insur- • anca fund. The nett balance, after the deductions, was divided as follows: 27J per cent, into a pool for allocation to clubs on a mileage basis, 271 per cent, divided between competing teams in each match, 45 per eent. to the' union.
