DEATH OF AN ENGLISHWOMAN. RECORD? FROM HER DIARY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 7 p.m. Calcutta,, April 8. Mrs. A. M. White, a Survivor of the Indian Mutiny, died at Cawnpore to-day at the age of 83. Her diary records giving water to wounded British troops at Agra. Her husband, a drummer in the Bengal Native Infantry, was at Benares when the mutiny broke out. The segiment was disarmed but Mr. White joined the force which later relieved Cawnpore. He died in 1927.
