SUPPLY TO BOROUGH COUNCILS. SUBMISSIONS FOR GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 23. The question of the Government’s proposals in connection with the bulk supply of electricity to municipalities was exhaustively discussed at the annual conference to-day of the New Zealand Municipal Electric Supply Association. The deliberations of the conference, which was presided over by the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, were taken in committee. Subsequently it was announced that resolutions had been passed on the subject of bulk supply for submission to the Government. The text of these resolutions would not be released for publication until submitted to the Government, but. it was indicated that they would set out accurately the point of view of the municipal supply authorities in respect to their relation both with the Government and power boards.
