The Royal Commission on the wheat industry, recommended the Commonwealth Government to allocate its £573,250’grant for the relief of wheatgrowers as follows: New South Wales, £100,000; Victoria, £192,000; South Australia, £127,000; Western Australia, £137,000; Queensland, £12,000; Tasmania, £5250. The acting-Prime Minister, Dr. Earle Page, introduced a Bill to-day authorising the recommended grants.
