BIG RAIL CONTRACT AS RESULT. METRC-VICKERS AND BRAZIL. By Telegraph—tress Assn.—Copyright Rec. 7 p.m. London, March 21. The Earl of Dudley at a dinner held by the Iron and Steel Federation revealed that as a result of the Prince of Wales’ interview with the authorities at Rio de Janeiro Britain had secured a £3,000,000 contract for the electrification of part of the Brazil central railway, Metro-Vickers having signed the contract last week.
