Miss Phyllis Simmons has returned from a visit to friends at Paekakariki. Mrs. McColl is spending a holiday with her mother, Mrs. G. Williams.
Mrs. A. J. Gibbs and Miss Ivy Gibbs have returned to Alton.
Mrs. McCready, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. E. Papps. Mrs. C. Warner Stevenson and Miss P. Beale, Wanganui, are the guests of Mrs. A. B. Currie.
Mrs. G. Nightingale has returned from a holiday at Hastings. Mrs. J. N. Anderson returned yesterday from a visit to Marton. Mrs. W. Anderson, Wanganui, was a guest of Mrs. W. F. Sheild. “Fallowfield,” this week.
Misses Mavis Glenny, Roslyn Honeyfield, Vera Sheild, Phyllis’ Simmons, Ruby Harris and Helen Simmons were among those present at the debutantes’ dance at Hawera on Thursday. Miss Malone, Stratford, visited Patea this week.
