Mrs. G. Jupp has returned from a holiday visit to Whangarei. She was accompanied by Mrs. Hollis, who is her guest. Miss A. Joll, who has been visiting Wanganui, returned during the week. Mrs. Scott, Auckland, was the guest of Mrs. W. B. Cuming during th week. Miss K. Armstrong has returned to Mahoenui after a few days’ holiday as the guest of Mrs. W. Joll. Clifton Park Croquet Club members on Tuesday afternoon entertained former members. Mrs. W. Hamlin, president, welcomed the guests. HURWORTH PERSONAL NOTES. Mrs. H. Farmer is spending a holiday with Mrs. Young, Tataraimaka. Misses Eileen Eva and Isolene Adlam are in the New Plymouth Public Hospital. Evelyn Burkett is the guest of her aunt at Fitzroy. Miss P. Strainger has returned from the hospital and is staying with her sister, Mrs. J. Heal, Hurworth Road. , EGMONT VILLAGE PERSONAL. Mrs. Cowie, who had been on an extended visit to her daughter, Mrs. G. Barnes, has returned to Wanganui. Mrs. R. V. Sinclair, Kaipi - Road, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Wilson, Morrinsville. Mrs. J. Power and Miss Power, who were the guests of Mrs. T. Murphy, returned to Auckland by Wednesday night’s express.
