Mrs. A. Cocker, Pukearuhe, was the guest of her niece, Mrs. A. Knuckey, Whenuka Road, last week and has now returned home.
Mrs. F. Ashton is spending a holiday as the guest of Mrs. Knuckey.
Miss Tovey,, who has been Mrs. V. F. Howell’s guest for some months, left yesterday for her home at Christchur ch.
Miss Cullen, Rangiora, is spending a holiday as the guest of Mrs. F. W. Phillips, Whenuku Road. Mrs. Knuckey was a visitor to Wanganui during the week.
Mrs. W. Kaye, Inglewood, was a visitor to Normanby at the week-end for the Women’s Institute garden party on Saturday and the executive meeting on Monday.
Mrs. A. H. Hills is spending a holiday at Ohawe beach.
Miss Nancy Gane, Tauranga, who spent a few weeks as the guest of her aunt, Miss I. Gane, has returned home. The visiting members of the Taranaki executive committee of women’s institutes were the guests of the Normanby members at tea on Monday afternoon. The visitors were Mesdames W. Kaye (Inglewood), W. H. Walton (Patea), A. Morey (Tikorangi), A. Whitehead (Tikorangi), W. J. Smith (Inglewood) and C. H. Brewer (Kaponga).
