TWENTY-FIRST ANNIVERSARY.
'This week the well known grocery firm of Gadd’s Ltd ( will celebrate its twenty-first anniversary of the commencement of its business activities at New Plymouth. In 1914 the late Mr. F. T Gadd commented business with his three sons, F. E, R. and J. N. Gadd in a shop next to Corrigall’s, and it was not until two years’ trading was completed, that the present premises were occuSed by them. From that date the firm has steadily increased its business association with New Plymouth and the siAounding country districts. Lack of snace brought additions to the buildings and later a cellar wherein cheese is cured and hot weather foods are stored was added. The policy has always been a vigorous one which with best quality at lowest prices and highest service has been apnroriated by an ever increasing clientele. sS the death' of Mr. F. E. Gadd the business has been conducted by his three sons.*
