TAWHITI SPORTS
Keen interest is being taken' in the Tawhiti and district fifth annual sports to be held on Wednesday,. April 3, in Mr. W. Winn's, paddock next, tp the Tawhiti hall. The programme, which will commence at 11 a.m., includes pony, factory horse and trotting' events, classes for the best dairy cow and heifer, and a wide range of athletic, Highland dancing and piping events. It is hope<l that the day will be made a bij picnic event for the district. There will be a social and dance in the evening in the Tawhiti hall. The secretary is Mr. H. Thrush, Nolantown, Hawera, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
