OKAIAWA DISTRICT NEWS
The Okaiawa Tennis Club on Saturday held a club day. There was a good attendance. Afternoon tea was served by the lady members. Mrs. Trevenna. who has been the guest of Mrs. Gcod, has returned to Feilding. Mrs. Mellor, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. G. Barclay, has returned to Auckland. Owing to the heavy rain on Sunday the gutters in the township were unable to cope with the water, which in one place encroached on the footpath and spread across the road.
