Wallace Sycamore, taxi driver, pleaded guilty to a similar charge and was also fined £lO. Robert Thompson, labourer, pleaded not guilty to charges of keeping liquor for sale and of carrying on the business of a brewer, not being the holder of a brewer’s license. Mr. Lewy said Thompson would be convicted on both counts and, as he had no money to pay fines he would be admitted to probation for two years. Mr. H. S.
