CIRCULAR REFUTED
ATTACK BY MR. J. W. S. ARTHUR. BLAME CAST ON GOVERNMENT, By ..Telegraph—Presa Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9.55 p.m. Sydney, March 6. Mr. Foster in the Legislative Assembly to-day said that Mr. J. W. S. McArthur had circularised debenture-holders of the Investment Executive Trust and the Southern British National Trust, also members of the Assembly, accusing the - New Zealand and New South Wales Governments of endeavouring to destroy the companies in order that the spoils might be divided among friends of those Governments. Mr. Foster asked the Premier to reply to these charges. - In the absence of the Premier- the Minister of Justice, Mr. Martin, said he had discussed the circular with the Premier. There was not one word of truth in it. The Government did not propose to take any action on the series of statements.
