Britain’s protests against - Italy’s restriction on imports appeal* to have had the desired effect for, according to the Daily Telegraph’s Rome correspondent, a new decree is being issued shortly which should provide a satisfactory modus vivendi for Anglo-Italian trade relations. Its most important feature is the foundation of barter exchange offices.
