PROSPEROUS COUNTRY
IMPRESSIONS OF VISITORS. NEW ZEALAND’S ATTRACTIONS. “Though I have heard mmiy people talking a great deal about bad times and depressions since I have been fa your country, I consider that New Zealand is one of foe most prosperous looking and affluent countries that I have visited for some thne,” stated Mr. J. C. Fishenden, a London visitor to New Plymouth, to a Daily News reporter last night. Mr. Fishenden is a retired English business man, who a§ foe vice-president of the Royal Life-Saving Society, does a great deal of travelling, As for, many years past, he has visited three to four countries annually he can speak from actual experience. “In addition,” he continued, “I have found New Zealand one of the most interesting countries that I have yet visited, The wonderful and varied scenery, which is of a most attractive na-fore, has greatly imressed me. I feel sure that foe better your country is known foe greater the influx of overseas tourists will be.”
