Mrs. Morris has returned from a holiday at Awatuna. Mfs. Richardson, Midhirst, was the guest of Mrs. Rampton last week. Mr. Bennet, who underwent an operation in the New Plymouth hospital, is progressing favourably. Mr. and Mrs. H. Rampton celebrated their silver wedding last Thursday by a dinner. Their bridesmaid, now Mrs. George Andersen, Midhirst, and the best man, Mr. C. Jordan, Were present. The poseys carried and the table decorations were of pink dahlias and asters. The health of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by Mr. Hodges. Mrs. Rampton cut a decorated wedding cake.
