AUSTRALIAN ROYAL COMMISSION. CABINET SEEKS INVESTtGATION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, February 19. The Federal Cabinet has decided to appoint a Royal Commission to investigate banking and monetary systems in Australia. The appointment will be deferred until the return of the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, from London. It is believed Mr. Lyons will endeavour to obtain a British economist to act as chairman, and that the other two members. will be Australians representing labour and industry.
