AUSTRALIA’S PREPARATIONS. The Prime Minister of Australia is not going to the London trading conference without any alternative to increased exports to Great Britain. On the eve of his departure the Federal Cabinet approved of the appointment of Trade Commissioners in China, Dutch East Indies, Egypt and Japan. A strong deputation of Ministers and experts connected with Australia’s oversea trade is to accompany the Prime Minister to London, and it is little wonder that exporters in the. Dominion are anxious to know what similar steps are being taken for the expansion of New Zealand trade.
