TROTTING AT AUCKLAND SECOND DAY AT ALEXANDRA PARK NIMBUS WINS THE TEN FURLONGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. Last Night The Auckland Trotting Club’s February meeting concluded at Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-day in fine weather. The tradk was fast. The attendance was fair and the totalisator handled £15,104 ss, compared with £15,645 15s on the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £541 10s. Impromptu took the lead after a mile had been covered, with Willie Derby, Raydus, Pegaway, Kcwpie’s Guy, Jewel Pointet ahd Auto Machine next in that order. .The positions were unchanged along the back, Impromptu maintaining the lead to win by a length from Willie Derby. The order along the top was Travis, Nimbus, Homeward, Pukemiro and Francis Lincoln. In a great finish Nimbus won, a head in front of Travis.
