LOWGARTH AND MIDHIRST TEAMS. RESULTS OF LADDER MATCHES. The Radnor Road A team visited Lowgarth to play the third match in the Petrie Shield tennis competitions. Luncheon and afternoon tea were provided for the teams. Many of the games _ were evenly contested, Radnor Road winning by six sets and 17 games. Mr. and Mrs. Cohn C. Davis entertained at their home on Monday, for the opening of their tennis court. Congratulations were extended to Mrs. A. W. Mapp, Master Malcolm Davis and Mr. B. Hunt on their birthdays. Messrs ; Mapp and B. Hunt thanked the host, for the enjoyable afternoon. Sets were played during the afternoon. Amongst those present were Mesdames A^ ' C. Davis, M. Davis, A. Mapp, J. B- Hun , Rookes, W. Vickers, W. Watte, Misses E. Mapp, M. Askew, J. and O. Rookes and B. Hunt.
