EVENING SPORTS MEETING. TABLE OF AGGREGATE POINTS. The weekly evening sports meeting of the New Plymouth Cycle and Athletic League was held at Western Park on Monday evening. The fields were good and some close finishes were witnessed. The results are:— Three-quarter-mile A grade cycle handicap: L. Stevens (55yds.) 1, T. Haw (55) 2, G. Stevens (45) 3; seven started. Won by a wheel with half a length between second and third. Time, Im 445. Two miles A grade cycle handicap: L. Wood (scr.) 1, G. Stevens (160) 2, L. Stevens (80) 3; seven started. Won by 1.? lengths, with half a length between second and third. Time, 5m 13s. Two miles B grade cycle race: W. Ireland (scr.) 1, R. Greenlees (100) 2, D. Bond (scr.) 3; six started. Time, 5m 31s.
