ELTHAM
Mrs A. S. Coleman, “The Ngais,” Marton, who has been visiting New Plymouth, is now visiting relatives at Eltham. Miss Lewis, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. Pease. Miss Trixie Carter, Hunter Road, has returned from a two months’ holiday in Hawkes Bay. Miss Adele Carter, Hunter Road, is the guest of Miss Alvinza Curtis. Miss J. Bagley left on Monday for Palmerston North to be bridesmaid at the Shearman-Johnson wedding. Miss Rhoda Walker, who w shortly to be married, was presented with a black and gold eiderdown by the proprietor and members of the staff Of Mr. J. H. Morton’s establishment. In making the presentation Mr. Morton expressed regret at the loss of one who had for five years been a willing and loyal worker. Mr. E. Maslin replied on behalf Of' Miss Walker.
