ELTHAM AMBULANCE
LARGE MOTOR-CAR PRESENTED. GIFT FROM TURNER. FAMILY. Eitham is to be supplied with a longfelt necessity, an ambulance, by the generosity of the Turner family, which has donated for this purpose a large Daimler car owned by the late Mr. G. C. Turner. The vehicle, which had had very little use, was eminently suited for conversion into an ambulance, and the gift would provide the town with a long-wanted ambulance, said the Mayor, Mr. I. J. Bridger, through whom the gift w-as conveyed. Funds would be raised to conv—' the car to its new purpose, he explained, and it was felt the amount would soon be forthcoming.
