BATHING COSTUMES
REGULATIONS AT SYDNEY. MAY NOT BE CUT LOW IN FRONT. By Telegraph—Press Asfen. —Copyright Rec. 7.25 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 15. The State Government is issuing, an ordnance governing the type of swimming costumes to be worn on the beaches of New South Wales. Women’s brassiere costumes and men’s zipper costumes that expose part of the stomach and all costumes cut. low in front or short in the legs will be banned. Backless costumes will’not be banned. The regulations will be enforceable from September 1.
