NEW WATERWORKS
RAPIDLY GROWING LONDON AREA. EXTENSIVE ADDITIONS NEEDED. (British Official Wireless). Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Jan. 11. Parliamentary powers will be sought to raise new capital for the construction of extensive additions to waterworks m the south of Essex at a cost of £2,500,000 to meet the demands of a rapidly growing area which includes a part of Ilford and the districts of Romford, Brentwood, Barking, Hornchurch and Dagenham.
