BRITISH HOLIDAY RETURNS. LARGE INCREASE FOR THE YEAR. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 pm. Rugby, Jan. 2. Home railway returns declined on unsatisfactory holiday traffic last week. Aggregate receipts on all the four main line railways for the past year, however, show a very substantial increase on 1933. Total traffic receipts for 1934 were £148,890,000, representing an increase over the 1933 takings of £5,035,000.
